I think she might be having one of her
"seizure episodes" again. (I only call them this for lack of a better term)
Not sure. She is just laying on the floor quiet - and lethargic.
I have to work at 11pm so there isn't much I can do. They usually
don't hurt her they are just "peaceful" is what Nancy said (psychic).
Just draining.
I will probably call the holistic vet in the morning but they don't open till 930.
I'm surprisingly calm- not freaking out like normal. Maybe b/c I know there isn't anything I can do..
She hasn't had one since 8-05.

I hope she is ok. Seizures are not always physical, and im sure she is comfortable. My dog used to have simular siezures when I was little... she would just lay there, when it was done she would just go about like nothing happened. (((HUGS))) Sorry you cant be ther with her.

People can have seizures like that too... Just space out and look vacant. Have kids at school with those type of seizure. When they first started, some of the teachers thought the kids were just not paying attention and ignoring them. Thank goodness the doctors figured them out.

Thanks everyone! Maybe I reacted too quickly - maybe she was just napping. I picked her up and laid her on a soft blanket. I walked out of the bathroom and she was up on the tote drinking some water. :) Pet Talk prayers are working! I think a vet visit is still in order tho.

The prayers have WORKED again!
The little SNOT was obnoxiously and noisily begging for treats when I got home. She has been begging for pets and using the scratching post.
I'm going to see how she is when I wake up - But at this point I don't even think a vet visit is in order - she will just get stressed out.
I think she must have just been tired or just feeling "off". There was some throw up near the litter box. That might be it. Darn hairballs!

I can never remember the name of the stuff - that malt-flavoured hairball goop that you smear on a cat's paw to help/prevent hairballs.

Might the vet agree to that several times a week for a preventative?

Just a thought.

Yea I think she gets prettier every day too but I'm a bit biased! :)
She told me in no uncertain terms that it was NOT acceptable to pass those photos off since they were from a week ago!

I'm glad to hear Kylie is doing better and I loved seeing her pictures. She's such a beautiful kitty!
Rumor has big time problems with hairballs too. My vet gave us Lax'Aire and it helps her a lot. It's the stuff you will have to wipe on her nose or paw if she won't willingly eat it but luckily Rumor loves it. I gave some to Rocky yesterday and like with Kylie I was wiping it off the floor and wall where he slung it off his foot.
