Actually, I celebrated my birthday yesterday with Andy, Kia, Leslie, Graham, and Kersey! :D

We had a blast at the Dog Park... Kia's first time there. :)

And we found out she doesn't like to swim. *laughs* The look on Kia's face when she jumped in after Kersey and Graham and found out her feet couldn't touch the bottom was priceless! ;)

It was much like.. "Oh Crap! Oh Crap! Mommy help! Mommy!!! Must swim... must swim.. must cling to dock for dear life...."

I wasn't laughing.... oh no.. ;) :p

Ah, it's a shame Kia doesn't like to swim. Draker didn't at first. He too had that expression on his face: Oh Not! My feet can't touch the ground!

After he saw how we were all having fun and he wasn't able to join, he got encouraged and started wading in further. Now, he has to go and swim if he sees a puddle! He!He!He!

I had a wonderful birthday. Mom stopped by the apartment to check on Kia since I had the test right after work. She told me that dad really misses Kia and has bought her a bunch of treats for her next visit. I wonder if they miss me. :rolleyes: ;)

Mom took me out to dinner and told me about something Kia did. Kia took a break while on their walk and was lying in the grass when she suddenly sat up and stared in the direction of the apartment. She instantly began pulling mom, never stopping to sniff anything, straight back home.

Mom said she must of known I was home and that we must have a psychic link. :eek: :D

Kidding. She might have some kind of psychic link, since when you first moved into your apartment, and you went to work that Monday while I stayed and unpacked things and set up shelves, she started lying near the door and started looking out the window a lot right before you got home. Even in a brand new environment she didn't know, her 'body clock' just seemed to know you would be arriving soon. Creepy. :lol
