Amy and Ralph went away this weekend so we took their trio. As you can see their dogs do not like to stay here - are terribly afraid of their grandpa

Some of our kids - Snoopy and Pippi - weren't too sure how they felt about Dad being surrounded by the grandkids.

Can you see the fear in Spot's eyes?

... so we took their trio.
As you can see their dogs do not like to stay here ...

<snikker>

They look Soooo terrified and uncomfortable (NOT)!

Reminds me of several times I've "dumped" the Three Amigos at Unka Pat & Miz Joan's house
up the street. I always get a warm greeting when I come back to pick em up ...

But convincing them they really are supposed to LEAVE with me takes a minute or two! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/rolleyes.gif

My trip to Michigan to ride the Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw was three days and two nights ...
I got back, came into P&J's kitchen for a while and told some tails;
then said it was Tyme to Go Home ...

The Three Mutts all watched me put on my jacket, open the door ...
and seemed to be saying "Nice seein ya - come again - we're gonna have a snack an
then hit the sack." http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/eek.gif

Hey! You guys are commin with ME - say G-Bye and let's GO!
SmokeMutt looked at Pat as if to say "Do we really have to leave?"

Cincy, Sadie, and Spot prolly wouldn't have *passed* on the weekend visit for
all the buscuits in PetsMart ... but I bet they were Happy to see Mom & Dad! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/wink.gif

Was Dad/Grandpa ever able to leave the couch? You really had a full house this weekend!

Are you kidding? Grandpa is one of the biggest couch potatoes around - especially during football season!

Now that is a house full of love! I love your husband's hair color, it's gorgeous! He looks happy being attacked with doggie love. :) Jack is cute, is he an airedale? (I ask because my boyfriend grew up with one and that is the breed he wants to get next if and when we get another dog!) Spot is so handsome!

4 Dog Mother
01-22-2007, 08:25 PM
Jack is an airdale - I trim him myself because he doesn't like the typical airedale look. He HATES being brushed and to keep the airedale trim looking nice it needs to be kept brushed. Jack is Carl's favorite. (They are all my favorite). He says we'll always have an airedale now. We didn't get him until he was five. I think the puppies are real chewers and tend to get a litttle destructive when left alone.

I don't understand why men's hair always change colors so nicely and ours doesn't

What awesome pictures! I love the close ups and the captions are just perfect. :D Poor pups. I can see the sheer terror in all of their eyes! :p :p I know it gave Amy and Ralph much peace of mind to know that their fur family was so well cared for.

I don't understand why men's hair always change colors so nicely and ours doesn't

Isn't that the truth! :rolleyes:

Actually, they did! UC was on a 5 game losing streak and down 21-7 early in the game. They came back, played a great game, and won in Overtime. It was a great game!

Oh yeah, you & Carl really have that "dog torture" thing down, Diana! :o
Grea to see your crew, too. Taggert's "winter look" is quite becoming, I like him all fluffy.
