Thank Google! :) I am still dealing with food allergies, but for much of breakfast, I am just fine - in fact, breakfast is the safest meal of the day for me!

Hey Lori, your girls might also like "Breakfast Pizza"! I just bought the ingredients to make it for hubby this weekend! My girls love it too! ;)

Breakfast Pizza:

1 cn. crescent rolls
1 lb. sausage
6 eggs
1 tsp. Oregano
8 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded)
8 oz. mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 c. milk
salt / pepper to taste

Grease 9x12 oblong pan. Roll out crescent rolls to cover bottom of pan.
Brown sausage, drain and set aside to cool.
Cover rolls with sausage and cheeses. Beat eggs and milk ...
add oregano, salt and pepper.
Pour over sausage / cheese mixture.

Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes!

YUMMY! ;)

The "Mother's Lifesaver" is a favorite in my family as well (never knew it by that name....) but we use potato chips instead of corn flakes....

Oh my, that should you get you going for most of the day!!

I, of course, would have "shrink" the recipe quite a bit, but it does sound yummy. So does your recipe, Kim. :)

What would you shrink? New ideas are great for recipes like that

Ever had this one? It is my favorite ....

1 and 1/2 lb breakfast sausage crumble, brown, drain
9 eggs - slightly beaten
3 cups milk
1 and 1/2 tsp salt and dry mustard
3 slices bread cut into cubes (I use french bread)
1 and 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Brown meat. Mix eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt. Stir in bread, sausage and cheese. Pour into greased 9 X13 pan. Refrigerate covered overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour.

We always had this and the Mother's Lifesaver for breakfast on Christmas morning because you make them ahead of time.
