Problems with MSN???

Is anyone else having problems connect to msn today? I keep getting an error code and when I click the troubleshoot button and it does it's "thing" the problem is with my "default gateway" WTF is a default gateway? It says "your default gateway appears to be offline" HUH? And how do I get it online?

I am not having any problems with anything else. My P2P is working fine, my torrents are working fine, my net is working fine. Yahoo messenger is working fine so what is this "insert bad word" with msn?
