This story and a plea for a foster home came up this evening on the PetFinder Rescue forum. I've also posted it in Dogs Rescue.

Give 'Lady' a Holiday Miracle!!!

MEDICAL WILL BE COVERED, FOSTER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FOR BLIND COCKER GIRL

Just got a call by a wonderful woman who stopped her car on the freeway
when she witnessed another car throwing a dog out the window. Maria (the
good Samaritan) stopped her car and traffic to cross the freeway and save
what turned out to be a Beautiful Buff Blind Cocker girl she named Lady.
It seems that Lady is about 5 or 6 yrs old and has cataracts. She is
extremely sweet but as one would imagine, Lady is terrified. Maria says
she wants to cuddle and be held and gives kisses none stop. Pls help this
poor dog.

Maria has 3 dogs and cannot keep 'Lady'. A foster is needed immediately.

If you can help pls contact Pnina at [email protected] or call 818 399

If anyone has room to foster this girl, please contact Pnina ASAP at:
818 399 2495 or 818 389 8446 or email her at: [email protected]

If not, can you please forward this to as many people as you know, so we
can collectively find this blind girl somewhere safe to stay temporarily
- just to keep her from going into the shelter system.

Wish I could help, but I think the poor excuse for a human being that did this should be thrown from a car onto the freeway. Ran over a few times too.
