Well this is what happened, there was a Christmas sale on fish tanks & I was supposed to buy one for Fixstar but then I seen one of the most beautiful betta's in my life cramed into a tiny jar at Wal-mart so I got him.

He was $6.99 but thank god I had some money left from my $60 bucks from bird toy Christmas shopping lol, I also seen a conure at the pet chop .. green cheek but he kept biting me so I could not hold him sadley ... that's ok I'm getting a conure better than that little brat j/k he was realy cute tho, I geuss he was just scared from all the people around me.

Anyway here are the Starlight photos, he's a real cutie and loves to follow me finger then start flaring .. I have more room in my bedroom now because my mom threw out alot of stuff so that's why I could get this little tank, Fixstar is going to get a new tank too maybe just a tiny bit smaller.

My water temp changes during the day is this ok for my betta?

It was realy warm this afternoon and now it turned colder .. can it kill my betta?

Thanks.

Gorgeous fish. =]
About the temp. Does it suddenly change temp or is it a very gradual change? Alot of changes in temperature can cause alot of stress on the fish.
I see his tank is by the window. Usually sunlight during the day warms the tank, leaving it to get cold at night.
If you want to keep the tank at a good, constant temp, I suggest you invest in a thermometer & a small heater.
How many gallons is that tank?

I honestly can't tell by the picture. =D If you gave me the dimensions, I could figure out how many gallons it is.

Wow! He is pretty!

I'm in love with that tank too. I have a 2.5gallon that I'm thinking of turning into a saltwater pico tank but it's not nearly as nice as that one!

Another FYI on the window thing... it's going to cause algae to grow quicker. I learned that one the hard way! :(
