I finally finished a roll of film, got it developed, scanned in some photos and can post.

Here is my neighbor, Justin , age 12, with Sugar. Justin has been just as excited about her arrival as we are. And he practically LIVED here all day Sunday and again (after school) today!

Here she is sitting on the loveseat. On those RARE occassions when we can get her off our laps, this is where she sits.

I like this pose better, I got her ears up.

More in next post . . . .

Here is Sugar with my Dad, on his recliner. It only took 2 days and now, if he is not sitting in his chair, Sugar is!

And a Christmas pose.

She goes to the vet Thursday (tomorrow) for a wellness checkup. I will ask about how to get all those stains off her front legs. I did find a shampoo to use on white coat dogs, and I have purchased all the ingredients to mix a batch. Just wanted to wait and give her time to adjust before I tried a bath.

She's so cute! What a doll...good luck with her! I give you props for adopting an older dog.

There is a product called orvus that is generally used on sheep that are to be shown, and I've used in on my paint horse to get her white again. It can be used on small animals, but I would only use it as a spot treatment, I couldn't see using it on the entire body. It comes about $20 for a tub of it that will last probably 5 years. :p Peroxide has been recommended too.

Lovely pictures of Sugar Sandra, she is just too adorable. It's so lovely that she's fitted in so well so quickly, it's less stress for her and for yourselves.
I bet you you're going to spoil her rotten for Christmas!

Those are precious pictures! I especially love the one with your dad. Dogs have a way ...
As far as the stains in her coat, waiting to give a bath is a good idea. The white shampoos should work. Obviously my guys are white too, and although the coat resists dirt, nothing resists Virginia clay. I will pm you with what I use. I use a combination of dog mane and tail, and the " Blue" which is a conditioner and takes out resins etc in the coat. I mix half and half.
