Over the past year what new pets have you gotten?

Starting from last December.
I noticed alot of people getting puppies around this time of the year on PT and it was like that last year too wich is why I chose December.
I have gotten


Two new bunnies
New kitten
Tortoise
quite a few fishies
2 new horses

A new kitty Potter that I inherited

A new beta that I inherited.

We have been blessed with our little bengal baby Eve. She is a very special kitty who chose to live with us and we adore her :D

Only Morgan. Well, Piper too I guess, but she isn't actually a permanent addition as far as I know. We didn't want another Dachshund at all and still don't really, but we couldn't just leave her in the situation she was in. My parents said that we're just training her and getting her used to living with friendly people and then we'll find her a great, permanent home....that's the plan anyway.

I adopted Hamlet and Shilo ( bothe former foster cats ) this year. :o

Don(the quaker); Ophelia, Sid, Pocky, Aiko, Garber, Mason, & Durbin(all rats... most came from situations where I couldn't help but turn them down!); Galileo(the dwarf hamster.. rescued from an abusive petstore); + countless fish & an African Clawed Frog.
On the 29th we'll finish the adoption process and we'll bring Lilly(Cockatiel) home. :D

I think I've added the most to the family this year. :o

On Oct. 6th we found and caught four kittens (3 at first and then the one we missed three weeks later) that a feral momma cat had in the bushes against my house in the backyard. I was able to find a wonderful home for two of them and I've kept the other two.

For those of you who don't visit Cat General please meet Moxie, the tuxie girl, and Decker the gray wild boy we had to trap under our deck - hence the name Decker. They are about 15 weeks old now.

I bought Rosie, the English bulldog, for my husband's birthday last January.

this year i got a japanesse chin named king from the shelter, and found out he was deaf but thats ok because i love him just like i love my labradoodle!!! :D

I added a female kitten,Ziggy Stardust, in August. I adopted her from another PT'er K & L and this is also where I adopted my Pearly girl from too. She was only 9 weeks old and she's now almost 6 months old.:)

Last month we adopted Keisha, a GSD mix from the shelter. And I inherited 2 zebra finches when I got engaged last february.


I got a few snakes, but some are probably only being rehabilitated and rehomed, so I am not sure how many new 'pet snakes' I actually added this year.

I *think* I got Ozzie early this year. I also got another Tiel today.

I got three rats recently..

As for fish.. I've probably brought home at least 30 bettas.

On January 13th, my hubby brought SNOOPY home!! He he, it is almost her first Gotcha day!!

We got Galina in the end of march, and she learned out in april she had learned how to walk on a show leads, stand for exam -and her first show out she took Winners Bitch. She is also the best buddy her brother Zubin could have. The two always have to be touching when asleep, and love to play together. A month later, she got her Therapy dog certicate as she was invited to join Zubin as the dynamic due.. lol..

Tinny arrived in early January.. so it is nearly her one year anniversary :D. Charlie the foster arrived last month, and our new baby was born last month but wont be home til early next year ;).

Well since this time last year I have added three cats.

It was at this time last year that we officially added Vegas to the family.

This summer a new black cat showed up on the doorstep. He was very feral but I have been making wonderful progress with him....his name is Oliver.

And last but not least, last week someone dumped a beautiful calico cat at the house so I have started working on introducing her to the family...her name is Scarlet.
