The boys are now about 7 to 7 1/2 weeks old. (the vet said 6 to 7 weeks old, but I am certain they are at least 7).

I have 10 new photos of them. So let's begin.....

Let's start with Chip

This next picture shows the kink in his tail. When he first came here I noticed a bend in his tail. I had no idea how it got there, but I assumed it was some sort of injury. I have known other cats to have a kink or two in their tails. Well the vet thinks that it was simply dislocated, but since it has been like this for almost 6 weeks it can no longer be manuvered back into joint. I could kick myself for not bringing him in to the vet right away. But I never imagined there might have been a simple "fix" for him. :( So he will always have the distinctive bend in his tail.

This Sunday they will go to their first adoption event. (And Charlie is playing Santa Paws for photos where the rescue gets the proceeds. I am his helper, Mrs. Clause) Jus think, in as little as a week's time I could be babyless. :(

So enjoy them while we can. :)

They are growing so fast Jen! And so darned cute! I'll see you on Sunday, although Dittle, my foster, may not be there for Adoption Day. She has a watery eye and her nose looks funky (I'm hoping it's not ringworm... ick!). Are you sure you want to give them up?! They're sooooo sweet!!!

They are SOSOSO cute Jen! I love how in almost ALL of Dales pictures, he has that "stand upish fur" like he is a big boy or something! lol :p
And Chip is adorable as well. Looks like a bundle of sweetness!

I also love their names.

Are you attached to them after the bottle feeding or what? That is always the hardest on me. I hate the adopting them out part, esp. after getting up with them every few hours for the first few weeks. I feel like I put in all this work, and I want them for MEMEME! ;)

They are adoreable but there is something about Dales face that I just LOVE! What is it about his face? It is just so very, very cute to me for some reason.

Dale's eyes are amazing.....And Chip's tale just makes him even the more cuter! I am sure they will be a big hit at the adoption event. Great job with them...they are adorable.

They're both so adorable.:) I think that the kink in Chip's tail gives him character. I'm sure that you'll have no problems finding these cutie pies new homes.:) It sure would be great if they can be adopted togther.:)

They're SO adorable, Jen! The thought of being babyless must be very sad. Even though I know they would be in a good home, I can only imagine the fun you're having witht them around. But....unfortunately I'm sure there will be more to take their place real soon.

Be sure to check her pockets before she goes. ;) :p :D

I am waiting to hear that the adoption event went well although it's going to be sad not seeing pictures of Chip and Dale anymore. Now that you've taken care of one set of bottle babies so well, I'm sure you will be in line for more. It will be spring and no-one needs as much sleep when it isn't dark all the time.

No adoptions today. But we did real well with the Santa photos (where the rescue gets $5 per photo). My Charlie was Santa! :D
