Crafting has always been something I love!
Yesterday I took a course at the local craftshop. It was lots of work, but I love the result!
Here is my home-made X-mas tree :)

Haha, they were all there when I came home with it. But I made it quite clear that this was NOT FOR CATS :D .
It's on there since 18 hours now, and no kitty-visits yet :p

Oh I totally love it! Do you have the pattern? Whats it stuffed with - looks like some kind of fibre? :D

I love to craft - i'm into almost anything - sewing, stained glass, polymer clay, beading, wirework, etc.. list could go on! I'm going up to the farm for the weekend to try to complete some christmas projects (alpaca felt purses, some wine kits with embroidered napkins, and a couple stained glass birds).

I took a course last weekend on wet-felt making, and it was great - i'll put up some pictures when i get home and take them.

Heres a couple of things that I made using store bought felt ...

My felt penguin - (acrylic felt and embroidery stiching)

An Amish Puzzle Ball (acrylic felt and embroidery stitching)

I finally got around to photographing my Christmas craft. Its going to be my gift to everyone.

Some people will get the ornaments
(look closely and you can see I went a little glitter crazy on the star :o)

Others will get this framed version (only we'll get a different photo since apparently hubby says she looks "Just like her mother" in this photo and I don't want to give him a bad memory)

I still have two more handprints to make and frame.... I am getting tired of making impressions of his hand in Play-doh and then pouring plaster of paris into the handprint, waiting 2-3 days to remove it, sand it, paint it..... I've made 6 already and I'm already "over" the handprint thing! :D :p But I AM excited about how everyone's going to like it. I think they are cute, and its only close family that are getting one.

And the best part? All it cost us was $1.50 for the Play-doh, $4 for the plaster, $2 for the star shaped cookie cutters, and $2 for the ribbon! :D I had everything else, the paint, frames, etc. Oh if only everyone knew their gifts cost next to nothing!
