Ever seen an ugly puppy?

That's Molly when she was about 4 months - she had the most awkward head I've ever seen. LOL :D

The words "ugly" and "puppy" just don't belong together - rather like "police" and "intelligence" ;)

Awwwwww I think Molly is cute!!! I know us breeders call these stages " the puppy uglies" but quite frankly- I never really believed it. They are awkward, can trip over their own feet, do a forward roll, look like " I meant to do that", and keep trucking.. But ugly- NEVER ! lol

Awwww! Look at those darling little spotted paws! I don't think this is an ugly puppy. Maybe she's got "puppy-tude" like Borzoimom described. The only ugly dogs I've ever seen were made ugly by extreme illness or neglect. When they received the proper care, they were restored back to their beautiful doggy looks. But I don't think dogs can be inherently ugly. (I'm biased!)

It's an oxymoron, we were just listing some. Where have you been, in a hole???? :p

I'm in love with her blue eye, it is precious. :D

'Ugly' and 'Puppy' can not be used in the same sentence! It's honestly true! Molly was an adorable puppy! She is now an adorable dog :)

I don't think Molly was ugly at all! I do know what you mean though...Tango had a stage during her puppyhood that I often call her 'ugly stage', but it was really just an awkward stage.

I don't see any ugly puppy, just a beautiful one!

Nebo had a goofy puppy stage.....ears and paws too big for him, but he was still cute. :D

Awww, she's not ugly, she's adorable!!! :)

All puppies go through that awkward stage at one point or another. You should see Rosie at the moment, her awkward stage started at 3 months when one ear went up and the other flopped over and she still hasn't filled out :D Of course it'll take a while as she's a shepherd, but I still love her.

15 puppies, 6 weeks old, 14 puppies 2 to 3 weeks old, thats what I saw and played with (the 6 week) this weekend were my hubby works - future guide dogs the only word I can use to describe that experience is GIGGLE, because that's what I was doing as they were nipping my toes, hair, pulling pant legs etc etc....all I could do was giggle it was too much fun

PUPPY & GIGGLE never ugly puppies, they're to adorable :D

first stage....3 months old, 1 ear standing streight up, the other flopped over lol

4 months

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y172/Sugarbird/Picture141.jpg

5 months, not too bad though, she took a bit of a break there

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y172/Sugarbird/Picture148-1.jpg

6 months, HUGE ears, HUGE feet,

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y172/Sugarbird/Picture155.jpg

and 7 months, not so bad anymore, but still incredibly clumsey and the attention span of a gnat before I get her to focus on something.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y172/Sugarbird/Picture157.jpg

and one more just for the heck of it. She's huge though, 26 inches at the shoulder and probably around 80 pounds now. She just turned 8 months old the 18th. She's still got a little droop in the left ear lol. Not sure if thats gonna fix itself, but oh well, I love her anyway :D I think it adds character :p

The last pose I've seen before, from many sight hounds. I've seen in nicknamed "cock*roaching" ( maybe because that's what a dead roach looks like?) but it's a funny name & a cute pose :D
