My cat has extremely dry skin. It is flaky and you can see it flaking on her long fur. She eats ProPlan and it helps her with the mats in her fur and her diet but not her skin. Today I fed her some tuna, canned dog food (lamb & rice), and a tiny bit of olive oil with it.
The reason for tuna was because the oil in it helps her skin, as I've heard/
The reason for lamb and rice dog food is because she loves it and only gets it seldomly so this was the perfect time to give a tiny bit to her.
And a tiny bit of olive oil in it because it helps shine their coat.
One meal I doubt is going to help too much though
Any suggestions to help her skin?

First, have you had her to the vet about her skin?

Second - especially in a dry winter such as we have here - I am going to give Oscar a drop of olive oil in his food, and Cole too.

Just a quick call to even the vet technician can answer your questions. But she may have an allergy or something, so get it checked.

I think there may be a food that helps with the skin too.

Good luck!
