Mine's a Garth Brooks' song - "The River" - Rachel

You know a dream is like a river
Ever changin' as it flows
And a dreamer's just a vessel
That must follow where it goes
Trying to learn from what's behind you
And never knowing what's in store
Makes each day a constant battle
Just to stay between the shores...and

I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry

Too many times we stand aside
And let the waters slip away
'Til what we put off 'til tomorrow
Has now become today
So don't you sit upon the shoreline
And say you're satisfied
Choose to chance the rapids
And dare to dance the tide...yes

I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry

There's bound to be rough waters
And I know I'll take some falls
But with the good Lord as my captain
I can make it through them all...yes

I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
Like a bird upon the wind
These waters are my sky
I'll never reach my destination
If I never try
So I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry

Yes, I will sail my vessel
'Til the river runs dry
'Til the river runs dry

Hrm well there's *always* a song in my head (especially after getting a cd player in my car! wahaha).......but I just listened to this one earlier.."Kite" by U2 (of course)..My favorite lyrics from (I *love* lyrics) it are: (this was my siggy on email for a while)
Life should be fragrant
Roof top to the basement

Something is about to give
I can feel it coming
I think I know what it is
I'm not afraid to die
I'm not afraid to live
And when I'm flat on my back
I hope to feel like I did

And hardness, it sets in
You need some protection
The thinner the skin

I want you to know
That you don't need me anymore
I want you to know
You don't need anyone, anything at all

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know which way the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
Don't wanna see you cry
I know that this is not goodbye

In summer I can taste the salt in the sea
There's a kite blowing out of control on a breeze
I wonder what's gonna happen to you
You wonder what has happened to me

I'm a man, I'm not a child
A man who sees
The shadow behind your eyes

Who's to say where the wind will take you
Who's to say what it is will break you
I don't know where the wind will blow
Who's to know when the time has come around
I don't wanna see you cry
I know that this is not goodbye

Did I waste it?
Not so much I couldn't taste it
Life should be fragrant
Roof top to the basement
The last of the rock stars
When hip hop drove the big cars
In the time when new media
Was the big idea
That was the big idea

The song that Dido sings for the opening credits of Roswell. :D The song is stuck in my head but the name of the song has totally escaped my mind. LOL!

Every now and then I hum "Across The Stars" from the Star Wars: Episode II Soundtrack. It's mine and Andy's song.

1) Because we both love Star Wars
and 2) Because we are so far apart most of the time.

It just suits us. :)

GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stand that fool. The day he learns respect for women, exspecially his mother and his wife, is the day i'll actually look at him as a man. But until then, he's a fool.

KayAnn, I agree. I don't like him, hes a poser. The song itself I ment isn't bad, but I still don't respect him, never have, and never will. Sorry to just jump to conclusions, I don't know him, but I've seen him on TV.

WHAT!?! It's not immature for an adult to see a "little kids" movie.

I still watch Saturday morning cartoons!

I love Disney movies and I plan to see 'Spirit' sometime soon. :) I can't wait to see 'Lilo and Stitch'

slleipnir! Yes, I did see the movie Spirit and it was awesome! You are totally true, everyone doesnt wanna see it and thinks its going to be awful, and when they see it its awesome! I went with my friend and she thought the same thing and so did lots of other people! It was a really good movie! :) I also like the soundtrack, my fav song is 'Get off of my back!'

Here is another song featured in the movie Spirit by Michelle Branch that has been stuck in my head for a while! Its a really good song!:

"You Set Me Free"
MICHELLE BRANCH

Can't you see?
There's a feeling that's come over me
Close my eyes
You're the only one that leaves me completely breathless

No need to wonder why
Sometimes a gift like this you can't deny

'Cause I wanted to fly,
so you gave me your wings
And time held its breath so I could see, yeah
And you set me free

There's a will
There's a way
Sometimes words just can't explain
This is real
I'm afraid
I guess this time there's just no hiding, fighting
You make me restless

You're in my heart
The only light that shines
there in the dark

'Cause I wanted to fly,
so you gave me your wings
And time held its breath so I could see, yeah
And you set me free

When I was alone
You came around
When I was down
You pulled me through
And there's nothing that
I wouldn't do for you

'Cause I wanted to fly,
so you gave me your wings
And time held its breath so I could see, yeah
And you set me free

Hey I saw Spirit too! I thought it was a good movie. It was very unique how they did it I think. :) I think most of the songs on the soundtrack are by Bryan Adams...is that right?

Ah song lyrics, I love song lyrics actually I love music in general, the song that's stuck in my head at the moment is popsicle by the "New Kids on the Block" I won't write the lyrics though 'cause then I might be considered a freak or something. But my fav song at the moment and it has been for a couple of years now is a song called "I wish you peace" by a now defunct group called "The Party" it's just cool, but if I have to choose a current song I think it would be "I Love myself today" by Bif Naked
