We have a tailgaiting party planned at lunch on Friday at work. The company is pretty evenly divided, and lots of games on the day before the game....people playing fight songs over the PA, many pranks between departments....it will be a fun day.

Why is your son not going? It's going to be a part of OSU/MICH history.. no matter what happens.. :)He's just not into football, and he doesn't like crowds. The only time I've ever been in the stadium was for graduation when my husband got his Phd. But he used to go in early before the games just to hear the band! He IS a big football fan, and he'll be watching! We have friends in Columbus who are going. I think it's absolutely awesome that you'll be there!

Here at Ohio State, we take it VERY seriously when it comes to Michigan.. We have a tradition where we JUMP IN Mirror Lake the day before the GAME! We did it at midnight.. and here are pics:

I had been debating if I wanted to jump in Mirror Lake for a while, then.. I started thinking about that quote - "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. CLEVELAND -- The score for the Buckeyes game may have been extra lucky for some people.

There was an interesting twist or coincidence in the score for Saturday's winning lottery numbers.

The winning score for the game was Ohio State 42 to 39. NewsChannel5 is the Ohio Lottery station, and after the game, the numbers were chosen at the station for the Pick 4 drawing.

The winning numbers were: 4, 2, 3, 9 -- the same as the score.

The lottery paid out about $2.19 million in winnings.

The lottery said the odds of the numbers turning up in that combination were 10,000 to 1.

The game ended at 7:13 p.m. and the winning numbers were drawn at 7:45 p.m.

the idea of a replay does ...lessen.. the regional impact of "THE GAME" in my opinion. for more then a hundred years the 3rd weekend in november, has been the constant event. i'd hate to see "THE GAME" as just another early january football game. and GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!
