About a month ago I bought an Australian Shepherd pup. Our son & daughter in law have a black lab about 2 years old in age. I can't get over how gentle he is with the pup. The pup is going on 3 months now. But she will hang on him & pull on his hide & stretch it out & he just stands there. He will roll the pup over while playing & seems to be so patient with the pup. Now when it comes to strangers he lifts the hair up along his back all the way to his tail. He also has a terrible growl. You can stamp your foot when he does all this & he will run in the other direction. Also our son & daughter in law have a new baby boy. The lab Max is his name sniffed the baby in his little car seat & then proceeded to climb up next to the baby & lay down & sleep. Max is a very hipper lab but I just can't get over how gentle he is with the pup & the baby boy. Just had to share this with anyone that may own a lab or enjoys a good dog story.
