How long does the unreconstituted powder last?
I have a container of the 2nd step formula. It HAS been opened, but has been closed in its original container. But it dawns upon me that it might be a year to a year and a half old. Should I use it or throw it??
OK experts, I need your opinions. :)

Is there an expiraion date on it? So many products have them, now. I have never used it, no idea.

I would check for an expiration date. If you can't find one, my motto is "if in doubt, throw it out!" ;)

The only trouble is that the expiration date on so many things is in some sort of code.
I would try a little Jen, and see if it smells off.

Since I am uncertain....it will go in the trash.

Opened KMR powder is rated for 6 months refrigerated and a year plus if frozen and kept dry.

Aww thanks for explaining! I wouldn't use it anymore then too, that expire-date isn't there without a reason ....
