Today while flying my pigeons I heard somthing in the bushes way in the backyard of my nabours side, of course I always investigate what little sounds are so when I ran over as fast as I could I seen a black and white cat attacking a poor little bird!!.

I ran towards that cat like a crazy thing and screamed at it, the cat ran SO fast and never stoped to look back and nearly ran into a wall lol ... I ran up to the little bird to see that it was a morning dove, after chasing it threw a bush I finaly caught it.

I brought it to the large cage but first I checked for injuries .. thank god it was only missing some feathers because the bacteria from a cats mouth can kill a bird with in 24 hours or sooner if not treated but only if the cat bit into the skin. The dove was realy scared of me but after seeing my moring doves it cawmed down and ate some seeds now it's in the shed asleep with my other birds but in a seperate cage.

Well I'm just glad I helped this beautiful dove (Maybe a male) I know that's nature but I was there so I could help it & this little morning dove sure must be happy to be alive and safe now. :D

That's great that you saved the poor little bird. He is adorable by the way and he needs a name.

Well, he probably doesn't need a name if she's gonna release him back to the wild! I'm glad you were there, and I hope he'll be able to fly free soon! Feathers grow back! I'm sure he's already GOT a name amongst his fellow doves, as even the wild doves tend to gather in group sometimes.

I'm glad the bird is okay, but I really hope the cat is, too since you scared him off. :( It really isn't the cat's fault, it's instinctal for them to attack birds but I am glad the bird is okay. :) I just hope the cat is safe and sound somewhere..
