I know it's early, but what are you hoping for for for Christmas? The "recent purchases" thread is interesting and I would probably like the same things as many of you, so we could even pass around ideas of what we are looking at.

I'm asking my mom for this. Purple is my favourite colour, too. ;)

https://shop.theanimalrescuesite.com/store/item.do?itemId=29119&siteId=310&sourceId=283&sourceClass=Category&index=14

And I'm asking for this.

And I can't resist this:

EDIT: and naturally, I'm asking for POTC The Curse of the Black Pearl. :p

My main present will be a laptop (yay!). Other than that I need a new dressing gown, and most of my other stuff will be to do with horse-riding, books, DVDS, stuff for my room, PC games, all to help me with my dressage. Also, perhaps when I get good at my dressage, I'll get a full dressage kit (probably next Christmas :p )

There are so many things that I want, but it's DH's call since he makes all the money...

Nintendo Wii - probably get this before Christmas depending on the price.

Digital Camera - preferably the Powershot S2 or S3 IS, it all depends on how much DH wants to spend. I would be happy with any new camera! :)

Computer - we bought a new monitor, now we need a new tower. This would be mine and his shared present.

Chocolate - Pot Of Gold is my favorite.

DH was being a brat today, he said - "But honey, all I want is a camera, a computer tower, a canopy bed, chocolate, Nintendo..." He said it in a baby voice, it was pretty funny.

There really isn't anything I want, as usual. A grooming table of my own would be nice, as would a new camera, but both are very expensive so I haven't asked anyone for either one. Someday when I feel like spending a bunch of money I'll get those two things myself.

There aren't many material things that I want or need...I would just like to be home and spend time with my family, friends, pets and boyfriend. I would like a cell phone, however, to keep in touch with these people a little better...or maybe even a car to see them a bit more, but I highly doubt I'll get either ;)

A puppy?!

Not necessarily any puppy (although I wouldn't deny any!) But Sarah's foster Ritz or Freckles at my local humane society.

Freckles is a year old and has been there since April. He is an absolute sweetheart, SO smart. He's quiet, behaved, and knows a few commands already. For some reason he's been overlooked, I am assuming it's because of his energy level. He's a Lab/Hound. :)

I will probably never get what I want for Christmas, but I really don't want anything else. It makes me pretty sad thinking about it. :(

That's exactly what I was thinking :)

I don't want many material things this Christmas. Life is too short to be dwelling on electronic gadgets and whatnot. This Christmas, I just want to see people sharing their love, not their hate. This year has been a tragedy in all respects, to say the least. I just hope the world improves just a little more this Christmas :)

Ah.. we don't celebrate Christmas, but we do give eachother gifts.. only because it serves a good excuse to get new "toys". ^__^
And also, we don't surprise eachother, so I already know what I'm getting. =D

55 gallon aquarium (yay!)
Pogo Stick (a brand spankin' new one.. yay for Extreme Pogo!)
Various Series on DVD (Futurama, Family Guy, & other similar tv series that make me SMART!)
Ornate Horned Frog (Can't wait! I've wanted one for a few years now.)
And various other odds & ends(clothes.. and stuff).

I really want a Persian, but that won't be happening this year with my sister still living here with Skylar & Kayla... as soon as they move out we will get one! =D

My mom is flying in to visit us for a week at Christmas!! That's present enough, in fact that's what I asked for. :)

Eric and I don't usually exchange gifts at Christmas, we usually just do something fun together. Like 2 years ago, we went to London for a week, which was way better than anything in a box!! We might rent a nice cabin in the mountains for a few days over Thanksgiving though.

I wish you were able to get this too. You know me, I want the same thing...except, another siberian husky. It won't happen for me either. Gahh I wish I could just buy a house and be able to do what I want, but I don't make enough money. :(

Hmmm, My christmas list is normally a mile long. But now, because of Zorro (domestic raccoon) I have actually given up my collections which are all boxed up. I'm not really asking anything for christmas this year. All my friends know christmas this year went to the dogs I rescued.

Well I know my brother and sister-in-law are flying in, so that's the most important thing. Other than that I'd be happy to spend time with friends and family. Anything that I get for Christmas will probably be to help fix up the house, so I can't complain.

It's going to be a rough Christmas as it will be one of the first, Thanksgiving will be the first, holiday since my grandmother passed away. That leaves my mom, brother, and I as the sole remaining decendants from that side of the family. It'll be nice to be with them. :)

My x-mas wish is a guinea pig. My dad would let me, but my mom says no. I would love to adopt a pig. But if I can't get that, I just wish my parents would stop smoking, and I wouldn't need any present.

Dutch has been there since May at the shelter where I volunteer. :( what sets people back is that he hates cats. he is a wonderful dog.

One of those computer programs that teaches you to sing propperly with a microphone and then it tells you if you hit the right note

to shareboard one month at the barn I'm at now until I leave it

I want a mac book but that's impossible from one person for one holiday so I'll probably just ask for mac store giftcards or something.

To be in Oregon. To be away from this nasty, filthy, crime-ridden, good-for-nothing city. I would just be DELIGHTED if thousands of dollars plopped right into my lap to enable me to do something about our situation but, alas, not likely. :p One of these days, I tell you! :D

Now, realistically...

I would like a camera. You know, just something to do with my time. I am having a difficult time finding a job. Most of my time is spent at home.

I would like to be left alone. Honestly. I want to spend this Yule completely boxed in, spending time with Troy, and reading cards from other PTers! :D

There is a lot more but it's all for the fur and scale kids.

Mostly, I would like for a wonderful couple or family to adopt Bailey. :(

I want to feel rested. The vet tech program has been so intense, I feel like we're being force-fed information with a firehose, and I just can't retain it all. I want to feel rested and relaxed.

My mom called me a few days ago and asked me when I wanted for Christmas. I told her I wanted people to donate to BAD RAP in my name. She just sighed and said "what do you want for YOU?". I was really sad. That IS what I want for me. I wish I could give BAD RAP some money, but I don't have any. So I mumbled something about the collar and leash that match Jasper's new harness would be a nice present and she said "that's not something for YOU either!".

I hate the gifting aspect of the holidays. Isn't it enough to be with your family eating good food sipping hot cider/chocolate/whatever and having a good time? I love giving gifts, I love shopping for people, but every year I ask people to donate in my name and nobody ever has.
