Vet's day is almost here.
Take a moment to think about every single person that is serving, will serve or have served in the Armed Forces of America.
Thanks to you all....

Richard, what a nice thread to start.
I will remember our Veterans & thank them for all they've done to keep our country free.
I'll be taking a trip to the NH Veterans Cemetary on Friday to pay my respects.

Yes Richard, I will be attending the service this year as always.
A big thanks to all those who have and are protecting Canada and the US. To those families of deceased veterans, I send you my prayers.

Just wanted eveyuone to know that HBO has some outstanding documentaries about the Armed Forces running this month.
I just saw, We Stand Alone Together - WWII and the story about Easy Company- 101st Airborne Div
I saw Baghdad ER. A diary of a "MASH" unit in Iraq-graphic, but good.
And plan to watch another about solider's lasst letters home- titled Last Letters Home- Interviews with families and loved ones reading the last letters that soildiers, from the Middle East -wrote home.
very good and moving stuff.
