This summer a family of geese strangly walked by my house, they where going all over the place and people just took photos instead of helping the poor things, that's when I grabed my mom and we both helped lead this little family of canadian geese all the way to the FAR away lake .. we crosses streets and corners walked along side walks and lawns .... finaly we made it too the lake and the family of geese swam away lol, the mother goose honked at me and my mom at the end like she was saying thank you. :D

People where so happy we did this, those little babies where SO cute!!!

I also got to pick one up because it got stuck in the rocks when it tryed to jump in the water with it's family lol, too bad my mom did not get a shot of that ... oh well Im just happy no cars hit them or kids scared them either.

Here are the photos, there crappy quality cause I did not have a digi at the time.

Yay for you! It's a good thing you were close by to stop them getting hit by traffic or anything, great job :D It's so sweet to see a family of geese get back home where they belong.

Great pictures! I'm curious, in the second to last picture, when they could see the lake, did they pick up the pace? :)

Great job :D

Its crazy the amount of geese here in the GTA. There was a goose on Eglinton (my end of the street) & this guy got out of his car & chased it off the road so the silly thing wouldn't get run over. We all know how people drive on streets like Eglinton, crazy...

Have you ever gone to see the geese in Ottawa?? There are BILLIONS there hehe & I'm talking about the inner city too.

Wasn't the baby super soft? The ones I touched & had walking on me were still yellow & had those baby chirps hehe

I love breaking the laws when it comes to geese. The cops never inforce the feeding & chasing laws. You know you can't chase them & stuff eh? But like a cop is gonna charge anyone for chasing a goose out of dangers way.

Yes I know about feeding but chasing .. never knew about that lol, but that is actualy a pretty good law because some kids like to chase geese or hit them with rocks, worse if the geese are near the road during there molt because there FLIGHTLESS!

Yep that little baby sure was soft ... I felt like kid-napping it hehehehehe ...

Thanks everyone! :D

They are a protected species & you cannot interfear (sp) with their lives. I'm not sure if they are a game animal here in Canada, but they pretty much have the same kind of rules. Look but stay the heck away. HA like I'll do that :D
