Adopt a black dog!

A sad reality..Black dogs are usually the last to be adopted..and the first to be euthanized.. this video really hit close to home :(

I've heard about black dogs not being adoptable and I wonder why that is? Do you know why?

it would be awesome if there was a rescue for only black dogs. it's a shame that a rescue won't take in a dog because of what color it is. it's a good video.

I LOVE black dogs and always have loved black dogs. Rocky is a black dog and he is the best dog anyone could ask for. :) I can't imagine not having a black dog in my family. :)

I have also hear it said that black dogs are not adopted at the same
rate as other colors, but I've never believed it ever mattered to me when
I looked for dogs to adopt. People sometimes cross the street when I walk
Smokey or Maggie.

wellll in our breed, in Russia the blacks were not desirable because they didnt blend in with the snow, but now, in the US they are actually looked for..
