Tony was adopted!

No he wasn't one of my fosters but actually a dog at my humane society. He was there since he was 8 weeks old(was brought in around the end of May) and since I took last weekend off I didn't get to say good-bye to him. :( But I'm so glad to say he was adopted! Gosh, I absolutely adored Tony and often took him to the dog park or on special walks when I had free time. He was honestly the best boy ever! I'm so happy to know he is in a good home now that loves him. :D

I share your joy. I vol'd at one shelter couple years back, & we had a sweetie who was finally adopted after 9 mos. ( She'd spent time in shelter already were/when she was originally adopted.) 2 years & I'm vol for another rescue and her comes Maxi. She spent another 8 mos in this shelter and was recently adopted. She was a real long timer. But her new parents stay in touch & send photos.
ps I'm sad when I don't get to say a good-bye, but celebrate the j oy of new home (new here - today) ;)
