I don't know why. She's otherwise acting ok. Why would she shake? It's not cold in here.

Is her whole body shaking?
It could be caused by an illness, injury, stress or nervousness.
Is there any way she ate anything that she shouldn't of or gotten injured?

Can you palpate her (feel her over)? Does she seems sore in any spots?

She maybe be nervous. I don't know why really though. She may be spooked by the fire detector. It's battery is low. She's hiding close to me. I don't know what else would have spooked her.

Her whole body is shakign like she's cold. I don't think she ate anything. It just started a few min ago. I was able to pick her up, so I don't think she's sore anywhere.

It's just weird, the thing has beeped before and she wasn't scared.

If you can't really think of anything that would cause her to be nervous or stressed she probably doesn't feel good. Most likely she is either sick or injured.

How is her appetitie? Is she eating & drinking normally? Is she urinating & defecating normally?
I would keep a close eye on her and feed her a bland diet just to be on the safe side.
If she developes any more symptoms or does not improve I'd bring her to the vet.
Hope she feels better soon!

Bet it was the fire detector, but when in doubt- call the vet..
