Boarding school?

Has anyone been to boarding school before? What's it like? Is it fun?

Never been to one myself, but I've played a few away netball matches at some. They look really nice and everyone seems really good friends there. They are expensive though, I think it's £15,000 per year at the nearest boarding school to me. And I thought my school was expensive at £7000 a year! :p
