Anyone in the Maryland/Northern Virginia area willing to help out a stray kitty? S/He's been outside for 2-3 weeks (that I know of). I feed it whenever I see it and he always cleans the bowl. S/He's a very friendly little kitty and I would love to take him/her in but things being how they are in this household at the moment, we simply cannot. 1) My four cats would not be happy.; 2) We don't have the money to take it to the vet for everything it would need; and 3) We don't have the money to add another mouth to feed. :( I don't want to take him/her to the shelter though - it's full grown and I think taking it to a shelter would equal a death sentence.

I don't think it'd be very hard to trap it at all - s/he comes whenever I call it. I'd be happy to drive him/her wherever, if someone is willing to foster it or better yet, keep it.

Can anyone help this poor kitty? Our warm weather won't last long and cannot stand to think of this poor kitty outside in the cold.

Help? Please?

I know how you feel, as no matter how many Ctas go poof here, there always seems to be new Porch Cats to take thier place.
No matter how full the bowls are, there is always nothing left the next morning.
We pray that you can get that Poor Stray to a place where she can be helped.

For now - do you have a box/doghouse/styrofoam cooler/Rubbermaid bin that you might make a wee hous out of? With straw and warm stuff inside it?

Try posting in Cat Rescue too, if you haven't already.

Have you contacted Petfinder?

I am way west in Canada...so this is all the help I can offer!

I'm sorry I can't help. I think Catty's idea is a good one in the mean time ... before the cold weather hits.

How are things going for you now? Were you able to keep your kitties afterall??? I hope so and that things are better now! ;)
