Tomorrow morning at 9:15 a.m., I am scheduled for the BIG ultrasound!! We are hoping that the baby will cooperate and let us know whether we are having a baby boy or a baby girl!! Meanwhile, what is your guess???? My brother-in-law already suggested that the baby is gonna have a waggy tail and a licky tongue. :eek: I do hope not! ;)

I can't wait to find out...I've been waiting for this big news!
My gut instinct says that it is a girl, and here is why:
* all the names that I could think of are girl names (we have a DEFINITE girl name, and only a POSSIBLE boy name so far)
* whenever I picture the baby, it's in lace and frills :o
* a girl just seems "right"

But sometimes, I waver, and my gut instinct says that is a boy. It doesn't happen very often, but the feeling is equally as strong.

I can't wait to find out! :D

Anna, 16 years ago, when I was pregnant with Helen, I was convinced I was going to have a boy, even though it could not be determined by my ultrasound. My mom kept looking at that tape and said, "Its a girl", and I said "no, no, it's a boy". I guess that goes to show that sometimes mothers do know best! LOL!!! I had even decorated the nursery in blue! Not a pink thing in there! LOL!!

Research shows that 75% of women "know" what they're having. I wasn't one of the 75%. I swore up and down I was having a girl for all the same reasons you listed. I had a gazillion girl names picked out, I was drawn to girls' clothes, etc.

And it's a boy. :rolleyes: So much for me "knowing."

Anna I am so happy for you all!!! I remember when Robyn was pregnant the ultrasound tech said that sometimes girls turn out to be *shy* boys. LOL! I know you are not at all concerned as the baby's health is absolutely all that matters and I believe that with all my heart. I can't tell you how happy I am that you and Mark are about to become parents because I know that any little one that comes into your home will be super blessed. Yup my cousin's wife - their first was going to be a girl - the dr said it was a girl - the US tech said it was a girl - wife said it was a girl (she's a nurse) her MOM said it was a girl (she's a nurse also)
we had a girl shower - everyone brought pink and white dresses and decorated with Pink and white everything - ordered a cake that said Welcome Brooke.
Well, Matthew was born and all the pink and white stuff had to be taken back and Brooke came 2 years later!

I dont know if you already know, but I know of a fool proof method told to me when I was pregnant by a old German lady. You take the age you were when you got pregnant then add the month you are due. Like if you were 22 when you got pregnant and due in October ( 10) 22+10= 32.. Girl!
Odd number is a boy, even is a girl..
Now if it was your birthday the month you got pregnant then its the reverse. .. I have no clue why it works, but it does- you can even do it on past children, yourself, etc..
