Today is my dogs Katy's 8th Birthday!

Katy is a Beagle/Chihuahua mix. I got her when she was three years old from BARC rescue. She was at the shelter because her previous owner had passed. (He was an elderly man).
I was in 7th grade.

Katy has got me through Junior High and three years of High School (we're working on the fourth year ;D ) She's been there for me through some of the roughest parts of my life. She's helped me deal with loss of loved ones, stress from school, family problems and so much more.

I don't know what I would do without my baby girl.
I love her dearly and am hoping she will have many more years with me. She may be 8 but she's still got the heart of a puppy.
