Im so proud!! :o :D I was dreading going to my class tonight because the oven has been broken and we have had about 5 takeaway :o ! I've lost half a stone over 5 weeks and Im so proud! its one thing ive actually got out and done without giving up!! :D :D

Anyone else lost recently?!

Congratulations! How much is a stone in US pounds, do you know? I don't really have any comprehension of how much that is.

Congratulations on the loss! I'd like to lose more weight, but seem to be in a rather difficult pattern to break.

Here's what I found for converting stones to pounds:
1 st = 14 lb

Good for you! Now, if you substitute some salads for those takeaways while the oven is broken, you will lose ever more! ;) :D

EDITED to say - maybe you don't want to lose any more! I don't actully know, so please don't take offence if you are now at the weight you want to be! :D

Good for you! Losing weight is never easy.I lost 35 lbs last year and have kept it off. ;) Can't seem to lose more though. Keep up the good work! :D

1 stone is 14lbs, Im completely hopeless at maths :o so I cant work it out but Im 12 stone 4lbs now!!


Killearn Kitties - Im not offended in anyway! I want to get down a few sizes before I go away next year so still plenty to go! :D

chocolatepuppy - 35!!?! :eek: Im hoping I do that well! lol thats really good you should be very proud!!

When my son was in the hospital last year and we were just about living there, I walked off about 18 pounds while eating like a horse and I haven't put it back on since... (Now, If I could only get off 17 more!!)

That is WONDERFUL!!! Great job and keep up the good work (if you want to/need to). I know its so very hard to loose weight and you're doing great!

I gained about 60-70 lbs due to being put on prednisone. I can only do so much excercise due to health reasons, but WALKING is wonderful! You can pick where you do it and with music, it goes by VERY quickly! :)
