The Stray Facility on base is putting these adorable friendly animals to sleep unless they are adopted due to the time frame they have been there and what not. I just want to make sure these animals get a chance to live. Not many people know that there is not an adoption fee and there is only a simple paper to fill out that basically says your name and address and that you adopted such and such animal. If you would like the number to contact them to get one of these animals email me or call security forces desk here on base. I met these animals personally and they were all sweet to me and my 2 year old daughter. I have heard two conflicting time frames for when they will be put down. One is the end of this week and one is the end of next week. There are two kittens a momma cat and also a cat with no claws. I do not know if the momma cat has claws but can definately find out for you. There is a puppy and the rest are adult dogs. So to be on the safe side let's say this week. I was told that the dogs normally do not even use the bathroom in thier cages except for the female puppy who well is a puppy so ofcourse she does. The kitties were very sweet also. HOney I wish I could help. I am active at our local shelter too, but I have a litter coming and the house has gone into lock down to protect the mother and coming pups from outside disease. I hope you understand this statement.
I am sure there are some people here on this pet talk that live closer. I am on the east coast.
