Here is Abby before her surgery last Friday (taken on the day before)

Here is her beautiful fluffy belly:

Now for the NOT so beautiful belly pictures:(after surgery)

They also shaved her neck :

The stitches actually look alot better today, than in those pictures.
Abby has also started on her new food in hopes it will prevent any future stones in her bladder.
The veterinarian told me her stones were calcium oxalite stones, and they retreived 10 stones from her....yikes!!

we are still taking extra tender loving care of her till she gets her stitches removed on friday nov.3rd.

That's a mighty big scar, but I'm so glad that the vet was able to get all the stones out and sweet Abby can be all better again! :)

I bet she is so happy she is feeling so much better! That is a big cut but I know that don't hurt like those stones did. The fur will grow back in no time and she will be her lovely self again soon....

HI YA ABBY! LOOKING GOOD GIRL!

Please consider giving Kitty only distilled water to drink. Bottled and filtered water still contain far too many inorganic minerals. Distilled water contains no minerals. The useful minerals in water only amount to about 1% so this is easily replaced with food.

Doesn't she need a collar? You know, those Elizabethan ones? Is she "at" the stiches? I know the fur will grow in quickly. I hope the stones stay away for good now she is on a special diet. Best wishes, Abby!

So sorry I didnt respond earlier. Abby is doing very well it seems. She is back to being herself for the mostpart, but she still is not supposed to play roughly with Buddy or do any jumping....thats hard to keep from her doing :p , but we try to watch . She is almost 100% changed over to her new vetinary formula food ...so far so good. Stitches are due to come out on Friday.
