Why is it so dark in here this week? Has there been a power cut? And has nobody done any cleaning? All those spider's webs!!
Oh, I get it, it is almost Halloween. Do I have to wear a costume before I get a drink around here?

I had heard that one of the holidays that is gaining popularity in Europe is Halloween...

And they blamed that on us Americans! :D

I will come as a ghost then! I will just drape this nice white bedsheet over myself, and voila! Ready to go to the ball.

If Halloween as an event is gaining popularity here, then it is oviously your fault! After all, you are the only people who really celebrate it are you not? Do you eat any bizarre food for Halloween? :D

In behalf of the hallow'een festivities, i'll offer up the 'Gummy Bear Bloodbath'

1oz Sour Rasperry
1oz Sour Apple
1oz Raspberry Vodka
top off with some cranberry juice

shaken in a chilled martini shaker, pour into a fancy glass, and garnish with a gummy bear skewered on one of those plastic swords. Voila - gummy bear bloodbath.

Also, for anyone who hasn't tried it yet, the new Baileys Mint is absolutely great! :D

Here's a frog related joke ...

A little girl walks up to her grandfather and says: "Grandpa, can you make a sound like a frog?"

Grandpa says: "Honey, why do you want me to do that?"

And the little girls says: "Well, Daddy said that when you croak, we all get to go to Disney World!"

:D *ba-dum-cha!*

... sorry, best I can do at this time in the morning!

I can't believe this is the Thursday's before Halloween!!! Where are you all??? Are you parting somewhere else???

The AMC channel has been running old monster movies all day. I watched the Wolf Man with Lon Chaney and the Wolf Man meets Frankinstein earlier. Yesterday they had Dracula with Bela La Gosey (well you know who I mean).
Do you know he loved playing Dracula so much, he was buried in his Dracula costume? Yep, it's true!!!

*Moff grabs a cherry vanilla coke, a hugh bucket of cheese popcorn and goes back to the movies. * ;)

What a day, what a day! I feel like a zombie with cobwebs inside my cranium! Must be coming up on Halloween.

I realized I never told my joke, so I figure an absent mind is a perfect excuse to tell an extended version of an old joke. I honestly don't think it'll be good enough for a drink, but I'll take what I can get. ;)

Here it goes:

A tourist in Vienna is going through a graveyard and all of
a sudden he hears some music. No one is around, so he starts
searching for the source.

He finally locates the origin and finds it is coming from a
grave with a headstone that reads: Ludwig van Beethoven,
1770-1827. Then he realizes that the music is the Ninth
Symphony and it is being played backward! Puzzled, he leaves
the graveyard and persuades a friend to return with him.

By the time they arrive back at the grave, the music has
changed. This time it is the Seventh Symphony, but like the
previous piece, it is being played backward.

Curious, the men agree to consult a music scholar. When they
return with the expert, the Fifth Symphony is playing, again
backward. The expert notices that the symphonies are being
played in the reverse order in which they were composed, the
9th, then the 7th, then the 5th.

By the next day the word has spread and a throng has
gathered around the grave. They are all listening to the
Second Symphony being played backward.

Just then the graveyard's caretaker ambles up to the group.
Someone in the crowd asks him if he has an explanation for
the music.

"Oh, it's nothing to worry about" says the caretaker. "He's
just decomposing!"

Hey, it might be corny but it still makes me chuckle! :D

Hey Richard,
Can I have one of those Gummy Bear Blood Baths? And why is Orc wearing a suit? I thought about putting an orange doggie sweater on Lady but that just had bad idea written all over it.

I brought some pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Thought it might go good with the coffee and Irish. :)
