I have a girlfriend! Her name is Doreen Kearney. We met at a singles group and began to hit it off. Tomorrow we're going to a special church service that she wants to attend, and next week we going to a local high school football game and after that we're going to the circus! She's about 4 years younger than me and is an animal lover, being a mom to four dogs. She doesn't have a computer or else I'll get her to go on PT! I haven't been on a date for SO long! Kinda nervous.

Hey, at least you don't have to stress about there being cat hair on your clothes - she can probably match you dog hair for cat hair!

Just be yourself, and you'll do fine - and they *always* appreciate a good singer at a church service, and you're a rare beastie - a tenor! You'll do fine.

The evening went great! It was an evening of modern religious music and there was a lot of hand clapping and it was very enjoyable and uplifting. I sat beside her and really enjoyed her company very much! It was late when we got out of there so I walked her out to her car and we gabbed for another fifteen minutes. As I said before we'll be going to a local high school football game and after that the circus! Anoher thing I found out about Doreen is she's also a cat person! She told me the names of her two cats, but I forget their names right now.I think that hers is a full house with her four dogs and two cats!

Karen, she had mentioned before that she had two cats, but I had forgotten about it until last night when she mentioned it again. Doreen reminds me of alot of Donna both physically and the kind of person that she is. They are both beautiful inide and out!

Dorothy, I may be the last of a dying breed! I still hold doors open for ladies, hold their chairs when they sit down, and escort them to their cars at night (I walked Doreen to hers)It's called common courtesy(sp?) I think Doreen appreciated that.

You remind me of "Those Boyfriends" that my older sisters had. I would often watch them leave on a date. The "boyfriend" would open the passenger side car door !!!

I do recall the word, "Gentleman"

and

I'm glad there are still a few left in the world. ;)
