Fall is really settling in now. Our temperatures are unusually high, so I took advantage of this and took some great pics of our "fall-garden"!
Of course, my sweeties were there too ;)

The fall garden is beautiful. I love seeing your pictures and stare at each one - anytime you post garden pictures.

I have a pretty big garden, but not the expertise that Bernard has. I wish I knew more! I can never keep it looking full enough. Mine is really pretty in the spring with bulbs - but I worry I will destroy the bulbs when I add more plants - and so plant lots of annuals. Never enogh though.

Anyway, thank you for posting your wonderful garden pictures, Lut :) I enjoy seeing the furry kitty plants too.

I love the Fall, even the garden in fall offers a beauty, and course the birds and chipmunks and other small creatures enjoy the seed on the drying plants.

We just got our back deck finished, well not 100% but 95%, the rest will get done in the Spring. But man as soon as it went up we had visitors.

Thanks, hubby did a nice job. He had to do the front first. Our concrete porch was falling off. So he did a wooden one with a little Pergola. The front garden was very nice this year, but it did get a little wild since we were so busy building. But hey, we live in town cut out in the middle of a forest so we don't need to keep everything trimmed. Will post a picture of the front porch before and after. It's amazing what you can get a man to do with a cold beer!

Heres the new front porch. Lol can ya tell I like birds and squirrels? My husband complains there is more bird food in the house than people food.

I haven't told him yet that next summer we are building our own arbor front and back with the same cedar so that all the woods match! and of course that asphalt walkway has to go. It can be our little secret till the weather gets hot and the beer gets cold. lol

I like the animals too, at least most of them. We had a bear on the back deck two nights in a row. They pooped all over. Now I don't mind bears, but not in my backyard. So I had to take away all the bird food for a while. And I love deer, but they ate over 200 tulips in my front yard this Spring, so heh, I put a salt lick out for them. I figure if they leave everything else alone, they can have the tulips. I did get to see them for a day!~
