you guys are frat twins! I've known quite a few identical twins. My small highschool had atleast 5-7 pairs. I even dated one lol. And they played that guess the twin game on me.

I am a twin, but my twin has been gone almost 24 years now. He died right after we turned 17. I wonder sometimes if he were still alive, would he still have his blonde hair. This picture really doesn't show how really blonde his hair is, it was almost white and he had the most beautiful blue eyes to.

I am a twin. My twin sister's name is Diane. We are fraternal twins. Our youngest sister looks more like both of us than we look like each other. I don't have any current pictures to post, though.

What lovely pictures of twins.
Toby's my baby, it's obvious that you two are identical and might I add, very pretty also. OOOPPPSSS just read that your are fraternal. My goodness you look so much a like though.

Rie Rie I am so sorry on the loss of your brother at such a young age.

I have a twin brother and this picture is from our 50th Birthday Party taken 4 years ago. I am on the left, older sis in the middle and twin bro on the right.
Sorry for the poor quality, but this picture was scanned.

Meg, are you and your twin fraternal? You almost look identical, but not quite!

Beth, I can actually tell you and your sisters apart! Your eyes are a little bit different than Sara's. :)

Actually me and Rachel are identical and Beth and Sara are fraternal! Atleast I'm pretty sure they're fraternal.. Anyways it's weird because Me and Rachel look almost nothing alike but like identical twins we were born in the same sac.

Yep, you're right Megan, we are fraternal!! Most people won't believe us that we are fraternal, but once you've known us for a while, we don't look ANYTHING alike. :p lol...well at least I dont think so. ;)

Since I transfered schools, I have met a lot of twins. One of my new good friends is actually a twin. I'm not sure if they are identical or not, but when I first met them I thought there was going to be NO WAY to tell them apart, but now after about 3 weeks, I can tell them apart really easily, and I can't believe there was ever I time when I couldn't!

I'm not a twin, but I know a pair of twins. They are faternal, but are like Beth and Sara, they look almost identical. I can tell them apart like that! *snaps fingers* but my friend who doesn't know them can't tell them apart.

I can kind of tell Beth and Sara apart but it's hard for me. As for Megan and Rachael, you guys look nothing a like! Lol!

I'm actually not quite sure on what makes you fraternal and identical. It has nothing to do with what you look like, I think it is have one "sac" or two...?? :o

Identical twins come from one egg, that's split in two. Therefore you come from one sac.

Fraternal twins are two eggs that are fertilized at the same time, so you'll have two sacs.

Hoped that helped! :)

I am not a twin myself, but I do have identical twin sisters, Mary and Alice.

Mary had fraternal girls, Kristin and Sarah.

I have another sister, Lynn, who has identical boys, Chad and Travis.

And Travis has fraternal boys, Jack and Brody.

Yep, 4 sets of twins in the immediate family! Not a record, I am sure, but amazing to us nonetheless! ME??? No children! But I do have 27 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews, with another on the way!

Beth & Sara, you 2 both look so freaking the same!

Lol your both are very pretty tho and I love your hair! :D

I think Sara has longer hair lol

I have known a few twins in my life, the last 2 where SO annoying they kept saying things at the same time and laughed the same lol.

Nice thread! I remember I wanted a twin sister when I was little :p

Megan and Rachel, you are SO different to be twins, you barely look like sisters to me!

Beth, I think I can see a little difference between you and your sister, specially in your eyes.

I always found interesting how some twins are totally identical, and others can be so different.

Lol, nope in all of the pictures I posted, I have the longer hair, but now, my hair is shorter than hers...i think. :p

Me and Sara often say the same things at the same time. It can be completely silent in the car, and then all of a sudden, both of us, and the same time, will say the same thing. :p It's kinda creppy.

I actually HATE being a twin. I can't stand people treating you like you dont have your own identity. I'm always "one of the twins" or "the twin" I'm hardly ever "Beth". The only time it comes in handy is on the basketball court or if one of us gets hurt and we're alone. On the bball court, we can usually sense what the other is going to do, and we are just "there" at the right time, it's actually pretty cool. And also, when one of us gets hurt, the other one can usually sense it. Not sure how, but we can. :)

My husband has twins. A girl and a boy (Robbin and Ron). You would be surprised how many people ask him if they are identical. He always replies, "God, I hope not. One is a girl and one is a boy!"

Thanks for explaining that Meg, lol.

It could run in your future husband's family, perhaps, but sometimes it happens in families that never have a history of it, too!

Growing up there were twins across the street my same age, but one of the twins, Kelly, and I looked more like each other than she and her twin Terry did! Kelly and I were both brunettes with straight hair, blue eyes and freckles, and tallish, Terry we think stood a bit on tiptoes to meet the minimum height requirement for the Marines (she made it!), and had blonde, wavy hair!
