Its about 30F in NE Wisconsin right now. Plenty of flurries. Its going to be a cold winter. Who else is feeling a cold winter coming on? My mom's got to chisel the goldfish out of the pond tonight or they are going to be fishsicles.

I remember winters in NW Wisconsin...25 miles north of Hayward when we would go up to the cottage for Christmas! Cold, but, oh so much fun!!

We had flurries today here in northern IN...very cool!

I'm sooooo jealous!!!!!

Weatherbug says its 72.2 currently, but, it has been getting cooler at night lately...so that's good. The weather people say it could RAIN this weekend. We'll see. ;)

Have fun in the snow! Bundle up!

We broke a record that was set in 1909 for the most snow on this date!! Tonite's low will be 28* !!!

Our weatherman forcasted a scant inch of snow on grassy areas for today~~~ HUMMMM, I can see about 3 "scant" inches on the deck railing right now  .

How did January arrive? ;)

"Sigh" Yes I saw that stuff too. Just a bit to early. It can do what ever it wants after Thanksgiving. But till then. Not real thrilled to see it. The good news is there is a moderate El Nina in the pacific. That means a very MILD winter.

October's too early for snow for me. I like snow in December, January, February & March. After that, give me sunshine & heat.

:D

Good luck to your mom, i don't think the fish would much care to become fishcicles! We had a light flurry today too, bummer. I took all the plants in. I don't ever recall seeing snow this early in October before. It's snowed for Halloween before, but that's still 2 1/2+ weeks away. :(

Yep, for the past two days, it has looked like a snow storm outside. Windy and snow blowing everywhere. We could only drive 35 on our way into town today, the highways were like ice rinks. It is supposed to get up to 45 degrees this weekend, so all the snow will go away. I think it is about 35 degrees right now, but when I wake up in the morning it will be about 25. :o

Oh wow, that sounds so wonderful. My friend in Wisconson told me it was snowing there, yesterday. I am so jealous b/c it's so hot here in Texas. :)

I'm so envious of you all that have snow!
Today it was cold.. smelt like it should have snowed... but not cold enough to snow.
And its going to warm up a bit by the weekend.....
It'll get cold enough to snow before I know it! I sure do hope so, atleast! ^__^

Ahh, it's 70 here. :D And was in the 80s today. Will be close to 90 tomorrow. Although, on a few of these nights its been dipping down, I think it will be very chilly this winter here. Usually it dosen't start cooling off like this until mid-late November.

I hope we'll get 4 more weeks before it snows- the birds are just gathering now to go away, so I suppose it will take some time. The earliest I ever saw snow here was September 2 years ago but usually it doesn't start before November.

I heard on the local news today that Buffalo, NY got 20 inches of snow yesterday! I wish I was there!! I could have used a day off of school! lol Yes, it's true...teachers like the days off as much as the kids!
