I'm 18 today.

It's been long and rough, but I'm 18 now... it feels like there are a lot more opportunities available to me now.

Turns out the Canon S2 IS has been discontinued because of the S3. Should I get the S3 instead? Or is there something better?

The S3 is fabulous!!!! We have one, and it's great! See this thread (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=111914) for some amazing examples.

You can still get the S2 IS! :) You'll definitely find one online for cheap if you search around. But I guess if you're willing to pay $500+ (Canadian dollars) for it, I wouldn't hold back! lol

Happy Birthday, Megan! And check around - the S2 is still available at most stores - Cirucit City, Best Buy, Walmart. Although there have been sales on the S3 that have it about the same as the S2 so why not get the S3?
