No sooner were we home from holiday last Sunday, than Micky came bursting through the flap to welcome us home. As you can see, he had been doing a little shopping while we were away and had bought himself a new summer top.

Ummm Micky isnt that a tad girly for you?!!!!
Surely being a Scotsman, you should be wearing a full kilt get up to impress the girls ;)

I can't get over the fact that he walked over to my house like that.

A couple of months ago I noticed that he had a little bald spot that he kept licking. I don't know what the problem was, but I suspect the Tshirt is to keep him away from it. Poor boy.

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering if he just wanders around in his clothes all the time..... ;) :D

Oh - right! I think I recall someone here suggesting at one point that a "onesie" with the bottom cut off was the perfect solution to a licking problem that a cat of hers was having - some chronic skin problem, so the onesie was going to be a daily outfit. So maybe you're right - maybe the shirt is for skin protection.

What a wonderful face he has; it says "I have personality plus." Is he the kind of cat that will let someone slip this top on him easily, or do you think he put up quite a struggle? It is a pity that they couldn't find something a little more boyish. Snicker!

I know, you suspect that it might have come off one of their daughter's old dolls, don't you? He is a very placid boy. I doubt he would put up much of a struggle. :D

When our little feral cat family first appeared in the garden, we borrowed a trap from Cats Protection for a fortnight. Several times we came back to find Micky in it, but he never got annoyed. He breaks in through the cat flap and tries to eat my cats' dinner. When I put him out the front, he wanders back round and in again. He never struggles or gets annoyed - never takes the hint either!

Oh Karen, what a great photo - even if it is a tad feminine for him.

If I tried to put that on Rascal I am confident that I would receive some stripes for my arms.

I like that look on Micky.
Hes quite elegant, and swellegant in his new top.

Well Micky, I think you look pretty good in that shirt. Don't be too concerned about it being somewhat girlish, it's good to know that you're secure enough in your masculinity to wear what's comfortable for you. What a little doll baby you are!!!

Oh, what a good-looking guy! Looks like a real friendly, neighborly sort.

Something to wear to keep him from licking a sore? Sure beats an Elizabethan collar!
