Anyone have one? How much is it? I'm thinking about asking my mom and dad for a higher quality camera then the one I currently have... something I can practice my photography skills with. One that has a macro setting, too. I really want it to be an affordable price. My cousin has a Canon Rebel (not digital), and her pictures are really amazing.

Just curious. :)

Canon Rebel's are pretty pricey. I wouldn't say they are really affordable, but you definitely get what you pay for.

At Future Shop the Canon Digital Rebel XT 8.0MP SLR Digital Camera is $749.99.

One of my friends have one that is digital and I have one that isn't. They aren't cheap, but they are well worth the money. I'm saving up so I can get one after the holidays. They cost anywhere from 300 to 5oo dollars at Wally World.

We both love our cameras

I have the Rebel XT. It was $700 but it was so worth it. The S2 that I had before just doesn't even compare to the quality this camera puts out.

Wow those are pretty pricey! My parent's would only pay maybe 350 dollars. I haven't actually asked them how much they're willing to pay, though. Thanks very much for the replies, I hope I can get this camera!!

My Rebel was only about $650, because the Rebel XT had just come out. But it was worth it!
