What do you think about this? I'm not quite sure myself.

US biotech firm Allerca says it has managed to selectively breed them by reducing a certain type of protein that triggers allergic reactions.

I think that could possibly be a round-about way of saying the cats are interbred. I also don't like the fact that they're referred to as a 'market', markets are for vegetables, loving homes are for cats.

I'm unsure about this too.

There must be a lot easier ways of having a Cat that trigger allergies than spending 4000 dollars on a Cat.
I wonder how the fact that these Cats are so specifically bred will work on thier own health, and longavity.
These same people cocoon thier children so they dont catch anything.
You simply cannot eliminate all things from your life that are dirty.

Interesting concept but it does raise a few concerns in my mind. Will this selective breeding eventually lead to irresponsible inbreeding and the health issues that come with it? What will happen to these kitties a few generations down the line? I'm with you, Randi, don't know what to think about this.

Don't EVEN get me started with this.

Why BUY while shelter pets die. That's all I have to say on that subject.
