Tommy & Tasha checking in..

My boy turned 6 on the 20th. I haven't had a lot of free time but I made the day as special as I could for him, lots of treats and plenty of loving. I even sang Happy Birthday to him, and he stood grinning and wagging through that :D. He and Tash are doing wonderfully. They certainly are the lights of my life, now more than ever.

I thought in belated honor of Tommy's birthday I'd post a few pictures, and links to a couple videos of him being his goofy silly self for anyone who would like to take a look. The lighting isn't great, especially in the second as it was night time and had limited lighting so things look more 'orange' than they should. We hope everyone is doing well, and miss spending more time posting. Enjoy :)

I don't know if I've told you this before, but Tommy looks very similar to my best childhood buddy, Lady. I smile every time I see his pic! I'll have to scan one of Lady sometime to show you the similarity.

Thanks everyone! Pam your post made me laugh.. Tommy will still grab for his logs outside if I don't bring his frisbee out (actually it's one of those flying squirrel/chuck-it type canvas frisbees), but that is his newest obsession this year :D. He LOVES that thing and loves trying to catch it. Inside however anything is fair game, from blankets to dog beds to empty plastic bottles and balls on ropes (his favorite). If it's in reach he's got it in his mouth! :D

LOL I am telling him "kill it!" :o No worries though, he only "kills" inanimate objects :D. I didn't really teach him to do it so much, I just started saying it while he was shaking things, and now he does it on cue!
