You really have to be careful with homemade Toys, as Cats can do things that put them into danger , that you would never think of happening.
We are sorry to hear about your Poor Cat.
You will see him again.

With cats, a similar thing happens with yarn. Because of the "hooks" on their tongues, they can't put it down, it has to "go down," so it ends up inside them. And gives problems. Some of the best toys are home made; but you do have to think before letting the cat play with it unsupervised.

This is a good reminder.
