Steve Irwin's Death Tape NOW ONLINE

My friend and I were watching videos on Google today in Multimedia class (http://video.google.ca). We were watching Simspons, South Park, etc. goofs about Steve Irwin (not his death) and saw a video that said "Steve's Death"..

My friend clicked on it and long warning came up saying we were about to watch Steve Irwin's last moments alive and watch him be killed by the stingray.

We freaked out and closed the window.

Apparently on Google Videos and YouTube you can now see Steve's death tape.

How disturbing is this?! Not even the MEDIA has released this video!!!!!!! :( :mad:

Omg!! One of my son's friends was telling me it was online. I told him that was impossible. I read the tape was locked away in a vault. I wonder who got hold of it to put it online :confused: It is very disturbing. :(

They are having his memorial service for the public tonight. Its going to be shown on Animal Planet.

its a fake.. i got sent a link to it on youtube... i couldnt imagine them ever releasing it in the first place.

There was a video that said to be it and it freaked me out it just showed some scaey looking girls face. :eek:

A lot of people dive with stingrays on a regular basis. Someone took an amateur divers video footage and put it there. At least on the ones that I have seen, it is regular dive footage.

Rays are truly non-aggressive amazing creatures. Irwin's death was a tragic accident and only one of 4 deaths by stingray recorded in Australia I think.

I just found a video that looks like the real thing, I'm not sure though as I didn't watch to see it actually "get him". But it appears to be him in the footage. :(

I think its so disrespectful to Steve, his family and friends for anyone to make a fake video of his death. What is wrong with people?

What we saw wasn't even a faked video, it was nothing, but it sure got people to click.

Someone told me they saw the real thing. But you're right, I heard the tape was locked away in a police vault.

Just because it's locked away in a vault doesn't mean someone didn't make a copy of it before it was locked away. :(

In either case, even if "a" video of his death is released, I still wouldn't watch it.

The tape is in the hands of the police. It is not be released. There are many spoofs of his death going around, and also just absolutely stupid videos with the title saying it's his death.

Neither would I. And thinking about it, the media would have got the video of his death before the internet. JMO. My stomach feels sick just thinking about it being released and people viewing it.
