christmas card swap 2006 list sent

Ok I will do the swap . It's great fun. but a few of the rules .
1 you must have been a Pet talker for at least 3 months as of today.
2 If under 16 you must have parents permission (please have parent PM me for Karens phone # ) she has to ok it before you can be added to the list.
3 you Mustmail to all on the list.
Deadline for info Oct 31
If you can't please do not sign up. It is very disappointing to mail a card and not receive one in return.
Any one who is out of the USA can mail them along with the payment for US stamps and I'll repost them from here. Just Pm me and I'll give you my address.

Corinna will be collecting names and addresses of people who want to participate. She will then send a list of all the participants. Each participant sends out a card to everyone on the list. Usually there is around 50 or so people to send cards to so it can get a bit pricey.

It is a lot of fun to recieve cards almost daily, though! :)

is it the same postage for plain postcard and a small letter (envelope).....i plan on sending postcard sized postcards :rolleyes: but get them inside an envelope (just to get more space to write LOL so I don´t use half of it for address).........and I´m seeing the possibility to send them to a US folk to have them reposted........so I want to know how much to send and also if you could inform me from where are the pters participating so I can start arranging those that need more time to be delivered (Maya & Inkas mom for example) and also separte those that are going to be sent together (USA ones and Canadian ones).........

You can use store bought cards if you want to. Some people put pictures of their pets in the cards or create a card with their pets pictures on it. I use photoshop to create my picture because I have 6 cats and would never be able to get a good picture of all of them together.:)

You are not required to do so, but many people choose to do so. One creative paticipant included fur samples instead!

I may be wrong but I've never ever heard of any problems from anyone. I know some of us can be goofy, but not like THAT! Maybe you should contact Mayor Karen and she can reassure your folks. Check your spam or junk folder - Corinna's been having some server troubles, but alos because it is an attachment, your email progrem may filter it out as a potential virus.

Ok I just got back and I have 2 emails saying the 2 of the resends today were delayed in delivery. I have no idea what the heck in going on. if you don't mind huskey mom could they pm you and you send it? I think its be couse I use outlook express. I hate it but it's what my cable company put my mail on.

I think it would be good to do it like Cataholic said, so everything stays in this one thread. At least we know where to look. ;)

If there are any more corrections, just copy & paste, and post it in this thread so all stays together. (That's what we do for the Findlay PT meet food lists & it works just fine.)

OK, I'm not on the list, but I can assure you, you don't have to worry about the overseas cards just yet, it takes 3-5 days from USA to Denmark, and probably most places in Europe. Mind you, for Christmas, add another 4-5 days to be sure. ;) However, from Moldova to Denmark it takes longer - one year I got Vio's Christmas card 2nd of APRIL! :D
