Monty the British Blue Shorthair - Some pics

It took me long enough to get around to posting up a few photo`s of the beast but here are a few from 2005 and 2006.
In answer to a question about whether he was named after the ww2 general or the movie star, the answer is both.
He has not changed a bit since March of this year. Ambushes me, does cartoon like walk on tips of paws and waits at the big white box to see if a prawn will appear as if by magic.
He often makes a trilling sound as he sprints past me, a very peculiar noise. If he is going fast enough there is almost a doppler effect, either that or he intends the effect to be heard, very strange.

The striped one in the 3rd photo is his ex-victim Harry. I say ex because Harry gives as good as he gets now he is grown up. Harry is from a neighbours house.
Monty last appeared on Pet Talk in march as a tigger of the day. everything about him is round. Round ears, round head, round paws, he is a cat of round features. Above all he is trouble in a fur coat.

Monty sounds like he definately keeps you on your toes! He's lovely, his fur looks so thick and I love the smokey colour of it. He's smashing, so is Harry, a bit more 'working class' though, hehe. I imagine if Monty could speak he'd be very posh and talk like an old British general, possibly like Major off Fawlty Towers!

I shall post some recent pictures of my fabulous furry friend soon. He has matured into a fine and gentle cat who has not lost his sense of fun. Still very independent and still loves prawns. I say gentle but occasionally he likes to test the sharpness of his claws on me when playing biffing and swatting games.
