So whats the thing single mom's file for when the have babies or are pregnant that helps them pay for medical/financial things?? sorry that doesnt explain it very well but it's driving my crazy and my boyfriend doesnt believe me that such thing exists!! thanks

Around here the program is called WIC. They supply wellbaby care, as well as milk, cheese, cereal ect.... Is that what you meant???

kinda! Arg...it's driving me half mad!!! haha!! Not alot of people like it because the the gov. takes our tax money to help pay for the things people need in this program and people dont like their tax money being taken but it helps ALOT of people who are single parents and cant afford health care and only make a certain amount of money!

I don't know what it's called but my mom has/had it. She's since been remaried for 9 years but my dad still pays her for my school books and things like that.

Those particular state funded programs are income-dependant, NOT marital status dependant. While the two might seemed linked, they don't have to be. Sometimes, even married people are poor. ;)

Medicaid pays for medical care for children without insurance if their parents qualify. That's the only thing I know of that hasn't been mentioned already.

I was thinking welfare or WIC too - but there are some programs that are run by the state, so it may be different in your state than ours.

haha im not pregnant...that i know of!! haha!! i dont plan on becoming pregnant for a very long time!! i have been eating alot more but ya never know! If i do end up pregnant, ill def. let you guys know first!!! :)
