Recently we had some wild turkeys visiting in our front yard and Abby and Buddy enjoyed their visit :)

The first picture is taken through a screen so it may be a bit hard to see the turkeys(they are just to the right of the tree, right below the red hydrant),

but the second picture you can see them just fine :)

Wow, these are nice pictures. It looks as if you have an age range there in that turkey flock. As you may already know, turkeys travel in a timed circuit, so they will very likely be back in your range at some point - then you can know how often to look for them. And you can tell your cats.

It makes you wonder what was going through their minds, doesn't it? Were they fascinated because it was a new creature, or because of the movement, or did they think they wanted one for dinner?

And Thanksgiving Day is not that far off , at least in Catada.
I think that they are probably choosing a particularly plump bird that can be stuffed and served.
