Tubby & Peanut's Mom

I went through the last few week's worth of pictures and there were quite a few. Instead of making separate threads for them all, I'll just post them all here, in the order in which they ended up on Imagestation....which is to say...in no particular order.
Sorry, first one isn't one of the kitties. :o
My Mom and Aunt came down for one final visit. We went to see King Tut and the Field Museum. From left, my Aunt, me, Mom.

I used to have "stuff" down there, but I've cleaned it out and taken it to the motorhome, so CJ now has a new little "garage." He loves it and "parks" in there all the time.

Cool space, Mom. Thanks!

Peanut, so rudely interrupted as she started falling asleep in her little bed.

CJ was soooo snuggled in his favorite banky. I left the lighting as is on this pic because it adds to the peacefulness of the shot.

This was about a month ago. It finally cooled off enough around here to open the door. The file box just happened to be in front of the window, so Peanut took advantage of the added height to get a better view of the action outside.

The second Peanut jumped down, CJ had to check it out. Hmmm....maybe that's why Peanut jumped down!

The pics in this next set are all pretty similar, yet different. CJ makes the PERFECT little meatloaf! A meatloaf that's ready to take off?

And finally here are some pics of Terry and I with our new "toy." We got an '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Bought it Tuesday night, Thursday night we headed up to Camp Jeep at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. What a GREAT time and perfect way for us to bond with our new toy.
I got to drive the first day. We did two different trails. No serious rock hopping, but some good off roading for first timers.

I let Terry drive the second day. Here he is entering a trail of rocks. Thank goodness for skid plates!

Guess the upcoming rock was bigger than Terry wanted to attempt!

And finally...my parents celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

That's all. That's only a portion of what we've been up to the last few weeks/months. Sorry there aren't more of Peanut, but usually when she's awake I'm preparing food for her. ;) :D

Why is it that they will lay where they KNOW they will fall and KNOW WE will hang on to them and keep them from falling? Chester does the same thing and always has..
Peanut looks as sweet as ever and that CJ....WOW! He is so handsome. (even if he is a silly meatloaf!)

Great update with pictures. Nice to see the kitties and I like your new ride. I got an 05 Grand Cherokee last year and love it but wouldn't dream of taking it off road yet. I kept my 1990 Cherokee and would be willing to off road in it except I'm afraid it might fall apart, LOL.
I'd love to see King Tut at the Field. Last time I was there was when they first got Sue - the T-Rex. That must have 5 or 6 years ago.

What a busy time you have had. I was wondering recently how the party for your parents went. Did you all have a good time? I love the themed balloons. Very stylish! I love your hair too.
Nice to see CJ making himself at home!

Deb,
Great haircut!! You also look like you've lost weight! Looking great, girl!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. What a great time you must've had 'sploring the out of doors. You're experiencing what I only dream of doing. Seeing the countryside with my cats.
Do you collect any particular "tchatchke" from each state as you travel??

Yeah!!!!! :) It is so great to finally get a little update from you! I have been wondering what your schedule is and when you guys are going to take off for good.
Love those kitties!!!! :D So precious.
Hey, good taste in cars, Debbie! I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, too, and I bought it new, at the end of 2001. We have really enjoyed it, although I rarely get time behind the wheel of it any more, as Helen has taken it over!! :)
