For anyone who knows me (*coughRiptidecough*) you know I have this...obsession (a healthy one ofcourse!) with German Shepherds.

If you own a GSD or a GSD mix, I'd love to see pictures! I never tire of seeing pics of GSDs or talking about GSDs. Ever since I got my first GSD I've been interested in them. Once I got my current one I completely fell in love. There isn't another breed I'd rather have. They are wonderful dogs and quite fascinating.

Anyway, I'd love to see your GSDs. ;)

Here is my first GSD, Bear. My parents got rid of him after we had him for around 6 months (Not my choice :( )

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/doggybyts89/katybear.jpg

Sadly, that is the only picture I have of him.
He was extremely attached to me. If I left the room without him, he'd cry until I came back for him.

Here is my current GSD, my pride and joy, Travis Barker. <3 This dog is my life. He follows me everywhere (I try to take him everywhere I can). It's a pretty rare occasion to see him not with me. He's always by my side. (He's laying next to me sleeping right now)

Gosh, what a handsome, handsome boy!
Just met a rowdy young GSD last night at the dogpark. His name is Thor. I'll try to get some pictures of him next time.

like i have said a million times i love your boy! He is so handsome! German Shepherds are one of my favorite breeds...my boyfriend is obsessed with them also..we'll hopefully be moving to Colorado in another year or 2..and he already has plans on getting one, he grew up with GSDs and rotties and just adores both breeds, but especially shepherds.

Those are my two favorite breeds as well ;)

I had a Rottie mix that made me fall head over heals for Rottweilers. I'm looking forward to owning another in the future. (A long with my GSDs)

I, too, have a healthy obsession with German Shepherd Dogs. I have all my life actually. Ever since I was a little kid I was getting my mom and dad to buy me books on them. Unfortunately, I do not own one. But I do have some cute pictures you may like. :)

A beautiful white German Shepherd Dog. I usually prefer the Black Sable and the most common color, though.

Oh wow, Maggie is so beautiful!!!

This thread has prompted me to download a recent picture I took of my daughters' German Sheperd Dog, Hexay.( I think she is 9 or 10 years old)

I have put soooo much time and $$$ into this dog. Time and money well spent!!!!

When I met Hexay, she was severely neglected, losing hair on her behind, dirty ~~~and was wearing a choker chain that had embedded itself into her neck. That was 4 years ago. I am proud to post this recent picture of this " Beautiful Senior German Shepard Dog!!!!!" My daughter rescued her , and I continued the mission!!!!

She is my Mona Lisa, (this Summers' June Bride) She has mild hip dysplasia, and , I was advised by the vet to help her loose weight. She weighted 104 # on June 26, and , she weighs 94 # now. Her coat is shiny, and she is doing sooo much better. Here she is, thinking that we will give her some "Bacon and Eggs" this morning!!!! :D

Such a sweet face. You can tell he's very happy and loved. :)

When Travis was 8 weeks old he got parvo. We nearly lost him. He had to stay at the vet for about a week. Poor thing was literally skin and bones when he came home.

Here's our Boone. He's 6 months old, and has a lot of growing to do. The breeder said his sire and dam throw very large pups, so we're expecting him to be about 100-115 pounds when he's done growing. Right now he's about 60 pounds. Right now he's a bit akward looking with his small stature, but his dad was just stunningly gorgeous, so we hope he turns out even 1/2 as pretty as his dad :)

Boone is my first puppy, too. I have always adopted older dogs (Graham and Kersey were about 9 months old when I got them) and I had baby fever BAD. I needed a baby. We had lost a baby due to miscarriage, and we needed a puppy. I wasn't interested in another adult dog, I was bound and determined to get a puppy hehe. I have never had puppy pictures before Boone, either :)

The first picture is of Niko, our 6 month old, long haired shepherd. We adopted him from a shelter in June 2006. Our vet believes he may be a King Shepherd and top 140-160 pounds. Wasn't expecting that when we adopted him by he is just so wonderful I can't even find the right words for him. He is playful, loving, obedient, etc.

The next picture is of Gus. We have adopted Gus but are waiting to pick him up from the same shelter we adopted Niko from. He got fixed yesterday is the reason we had to wait to pick him. Gus is a black and tan shepherd who currently weighs approximately 66 pounds. He could put on a few. The shelter estimates him at around 2 years old. I have a GSD age/weight chart and his current weight puts him under a year. We'll see!

Gus and Niko act like they are from the same litter. They love hanging out together. I can't wait to pick him up.
