Hi everyone!

It's time for another edition of THE BAR...

But something is affecting the men in this thread or the way they walk....

LH,

IT's my turn to be the walking wounded

I stepped into the cat's water dish last week and the pain is getting to the point where it's really huriting now!!

-------------------------------

Gee...I think I'll need a real strong drink this week.....ANY SUGGESTION?

RICHARD, I'm a former member of the walking wounded club! Due to my artifical knee I guess I can still come to the meetings! How about a very strong slushie for me, the boss worked me hard today. Did you notice Mario limping around??

Aww, guys! You poor little sweeties! We seem to have the walking wounded in here this week. Have we had this cocktail before, Richard?

Man O'War

1-1/2 ounces Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon whiskey.
1 ounce orange curaçao.
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth.
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice.
1 orange slice.
1 lemon slice.

Place the orange and lemon slices in a cocktail shaker and add cracked ice to fill. Add the other ingredients and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds, until very cold. Add a couple of ice cubes to a cocktail glass, and strain the drink into the glass. Garnish with a cherry and a fresh orange slice.

Please forgive me if we have, but it seems appropriate.

Man O'Wars all round! I'm paying.

I went running last night for the first time in a long long while, and strained my knee pretty good. Does that get me a man 'o war? If so might as well make it two to start off the night.

I'll take a screwdriver to night just worked a 12 hour day . We had to reset the electronics department at work. Most of crew schedualed for truck tomoerrow as I wasn't guess who got to do the reset? having a cup of soup and going to bed.

I heard we have more walking wounded, I brought pillows, some foot braces,
ice packs, and an assortment of OTC pain killers.

I'll take one of those MOW's please. Do we have enough recliners to set everyone up comfortably?

I think I really do need a drink today - and I will buy it!

(Richard said that I had to pay, on another thread - so I say to him peep, peep, peep or (cheap, cheap, cheap).

I met a little dog today - a rescue - his name is Monster.........and he has a very crooked tail. Just one of those heartwarming stories - the girl that found him said - no one wants you? no one claims you? Well, come on -
live with me.

I love happy endings that's great. Well munchkin's on the bus the little man has had breakfast and juice, so now to make some coffee and muffins for the bar.
Maybe some of this fruit too. I know I'll make a nice fruit salad.

I'm almost afraid to ask,
What are metallic burgundy bananas? :(

Bananas someone brought into our office today. Honestly the skin was a metallic burgundy shade. Would you like them for the fruit salad? They taste just like normal bananas. Bananas (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=112488&page=1&pp=15)
